Two in one day!!!! Topstitch workshop samples

I am having a workshop, both cards and layout, using the Topstitch papers...  it will be on March 27th at 4 pm.  Let me know by next week (the 4th) or early the following week and I can add you to my list of attendees!!!    Here are some examples of what we will be creating:
Sorry there isn't a title, I thought I ordered the stamp set that they used, but I ordered the wrong one.. I will be adding the title later, but you get the idea...

These are the cards - aren't they cute?  I love this paper!!!

I'm falling in love with sparkles!!!

Here is something else I was working on.. I got the template for this from a fellow CTMH consultant, Anna Jarnagin!  Thank you Anna!  It's a Flip Flap Photobook featuring our Memory Protectors Flip Flaps!

This is the outside when it was done... I used Aspen paperpack along with some Dimensional Elements and brads...  It turned out great!!  (but I could be biased lol)

and a shot of the inside, so you can get the idea... isn't it cool?  I love our bulletin boards!  I find alot of inspiration on there!

Thanks for checking in!

Where have I been?

I'm so sorry, I have had a couple of crazy weeks... But here are my Valentine's Cards I made for my girls and hubby.  Like I said, they were so much fun to make!!!
This is the one I made for Chris - I used Silhouette paper with Colonial White textured cardstock from our special!!

This is the one for Sierra, she loves to make popcorn... so the stamp was perfect!!! and she loves Pink.. so the Whoops a Daisy pack was a natural pick!

This is the one I made for Courtney... Her favorite color is green, and I love the Boom Di Ada papers!!

I received an exciting email from a really nice lady who is organizing a weekend crop and she wants me to be the Close to My Heart consultant, and create some make and takes etc.  I am very excited!! I can't wait, but I have to since it's the last weekend in July!  The good thing is with all the happenings, I will be on vacation from work that next week, so I will have plenty of time to refresh my energy level for the next week!  If you'd like some information on this crop and happen to be in St Louis area - or willing to travel, please let me know, I'd be glad to pass on the information to you!  Love to see you there!!

Happy Friday!

I just finished making the valentines for Chris, Courtney and Sierra.  I didn't take a picture of them, since I had to hurry up and get them in envelopes so that busy little bees wouldn't see them too soon!  I will get the pictures taken on Sunday or so after they are opened.  I think they turned out pretty darn cute!  I used the Wishes book from CTMH - and 3 different patterns.  They were so much fun to make!  People in our family might just get sick of receiving hand made cards!  lol  I used three different paper packs, Boom Di Ada, Whoops a Daisy and Silhouette.

As an update on the textured cardstock combo packs, the winter pack is now sold out.   Or will be at midnight.   The basic combo is at 50% already.  Demand has been high, so if you want in on this deal, either email me, call me or go to my website and order!

On a somber note, my prayers are going out tonight to the family of the luge athlete from Georgia (the country) who lost his life today on the track during his trial run.   It's such a tragedy...

Thanks for checking in!

Pictures I promised yesterday!

You Rock 2 page layout

Right hand page
Altered coaster project that Sierra created... it is SO her
Another view.. not sure why it turned this picture on it's side... it certainly wasn't like this on the disk.....  hmmmmm
Altered coaster project I created
another view...
All of these items (minus the actual coaster pieces) are created using paper, stamps etc from CTMH, with the exception of the white glittery brads on Sierra's coasters.  Those would be easy to make using prisma glitter, liquid glass and white brads - but we already had them from another source, so we cheated... :)    We sure had a nice time creating these items.

Scrapping with my daughters

Good afternoon!   Where has the day gone?  I spent all morning getting ready for my workshop this Thursday night.  I created the two page layout, now all that's left to do is take the picture and post!  While working away, I suddenly realized that I had company.  First, my daughter Sierra was watching intently and asking questions like "Are you going to add these to the layout?"  "What is that for?"  Then when I finished and was pretty sure it was the way I wanted it to be, she reminded me that I had promised to do some coasters with her last weekend and we didn't get to it then, so could we do it now?  I realized then that my thoughts of creating cards from my Wishes or Original's book was a pipe dream today.  So I set her up with the coasters, the paper and had her start.  I created one that has pictures on it - of her and her sister, and she just wanted to decorate hers.. (The light isn't quite right now, so I will take pictures tomorrow when the light is better and post.)  I think we did a pretty good job.. for figuring it out as we went along.  Courtney, my oldest daughter, appeared when Sierra was tracing her coaster for about the 2nd time.  I tried to get her interested and make one too, but she wasn't liking the papers I offered her.  She liked them the way they were - if you can't tell, she is my child who doesn't appreciate change as much as the rest of us.  She did however decide that she was going to hang out with us.  That was nice!  The three of us, hanging out bonding over altered coasters.   All in all, I think we had a great afternoon, one that I'll treasure in the years to come.  Who knows... maybe they'll BOTH do the next thing with me.  At least Courtney stays in the room now when we do the crafty stuff... It's an improvement!  I'll be sure to post the pictures tomorrow!
